Leeds City Council

Our convenient location in the heart of Leeds City Centre and range of room sizes means we can facilitate a versatile range of conferences and events for our diverse clientele.

Owned by St George’s Church, the centre was opened in October 2006 by David Hawkins, the Bishop of Barking and a previous Rector of St George’s. Designed and furnished to a high specification the centre was originally built to be used by the church but soon attracted attention and custom from corporate clients as well as charities and educational institutions.

The Hemming Suite and our Function rooms can hold between 40 and 150 delegates and our Conservatory Room boasts the addition of exclusive use of the attached conservatory and access to the adjoining courtyard areas. All rooms are situated on the ground floor making the centre fully accessible. Rooms are also equipped with built in Audio and Visual equipment and flipcharts can be provided. The Hemming Suite and Function Rooms have a zone controlled PA system installed for which we have a variety of microphones including handheld, headset and tabletop.

Refreshments are available by request and a selection of lunches can be provided by Nurture Catering. With a spacious kitchen, alternative outside catering can be arranged. The centre has its own dedicated Events Managers who will be delighted to discuss your requirements.
